Deborah Marondo: Deborah Marondo was born in the capital city of Congo, Kinshasa. I was raised in South Africa and have been living in Cape Town for over 15 years. I attended Eastville primary school (2007) for 1 year and a half. I was later moved to Wesley Practising school (2008-2014). At Buren High School is where I matriculated. As I speak I am a full time Student at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. I am a third-year student studying journalism. Aside from my studies, I am a part time blogger and writer. My previous training at Bush radio (2018) has helped me with my career path and grew me as an upcoming journalist. The dream started with the passion of talking. I enjoyed literature as it gave me the platform to showcase my interest in reading, writing and debating. I am fluent in English and Lingala, I also speak a little French, IsiXhosa and Afrikaans. My short-term goal is completing my Diploma and my personal long-term goal is to become a successful foreigner journalist in South Africa.
