The road to the 2024 elections

On the 1st of May 2024, South Africa will partake in the seventh national elections to elect a new national assembly and provincial legislature in each province. There are challenges faced ahead for the IEC due to the budget cut of R2,2 billion, the committee is concerned about the impact it will have on the 2024 upcoming elections.
